End of the Month (January)

Well today, this week, this month flew by so quickly. Here we are about to enter the second month of the year 2015. Can I just say, wow! Life just didn't want to kick off the way I had hoped. Things like to get in the way right when you don't want them to. So I am going to try and set some goals.

The first goal I set that I have started is to read more. I set a goal of 15 books to read this year which I feel like I can get done. I've read two books so far and I am on my third and going into the second month. That's pretty good for me. So looking forward to giving my own little reviews on them soon.

My second goal for this year is to walk more. I was thinking of doing the C25k app thingy. I did attempt this one day but I do not have the proper shoes so my feet ached so bad that I could not finish. So I need to invest in good sneakers before I start that again. So until that happens I will just walk.

My next goal is a bit of a combo. I want to get into meditation and yoga. I have heard multiple times how these two are very relaxing and cleansing. And I want to have a happier life. Ever since my senior year in high school my life has taken many turns and not for the best.

And the forth and final goal for this year is to find a way to save money. In the future, I want to go on a trip with my best friend before we turn thirty-five years old. I really would like to go with Contiki Travel and explore either Ireland&Scotland or New Zealand.

So that's about it for now. Looking forward to talking about the books that I have read as well as continuing my talk about the Galavant series.

Galavant Part 2!

Now I know what you are thinking . . . Where have you been?!?!? Well school had something to do with it. But this is a work in progress. I know I am a bit behind so please forgive me.

Well this past Sunday the episodes took quite a turn. Meeting pirates, the king having a ball/party, and the squires parents? I am most certain that Mel Brooks has his hand on this one. This show has him all over it. I have yet to see his name but I know he has had to influence them. So far I can not seem to find anything wrong with the show itself other than the weird jump cutting into each week/episode. I will say that every time an episode start it takes places quite a way after what you last seen. It leaves questions, however, you seem to forget about it once the show begins until the next episode.

Galavant!!

Alright, today was the first premiere of the show. They had the first two episodes play today and I have to say, this was amazing. I have wait for months for this show to be on. I actually watched this the time it aired. (Normally I tape everything and watch after to skip commercials) I am a huge fan of musicals so this was very exciting. Off the bat I dislike the Queen but love the King.

After watching both episodes  I know this show will be on my top 5 list. If you like Mel Brooks Films, you will enjoy this. I tweeted about this earlier but I will say it here again. The King reminds me of a combo of Prince John and the Sheriff of Rottingham from Men in Tights combined.

Happy New Year!!!

First things first, Happy New Year! Last year was quite an eye opener. I tested out different interests and have grown to love them all. So this year for my resolution I want to continue growing and learning more about myself. Last year, for the first time I put myself first before anyone else. I stepped out of my norm and did things that I wanted to do.  So to continue that I decided to do this.

Making a blog was something I wanted to do last year but kept putting it off. So this year I will be doing it. I like having memories and scrap booking can be quite expensive.  :)

I want this to be a memory blog, something to reflect the year. I know I will be talking about my everyday thing but also talking about movies and shows I want to watch or am already watching .  Soooo . . . yeah that is about it for now. I look forward to this year and I can not wait!!! <3
